D'Angelo to Play "Saturday Night Live" and the Apollo Theater

D’Angelo will be the musical guest for the January 31 episode of “Saturday Night Live“, which will be hosted by J.K. Simmons. This will mark his first public performance since the release of Black Messiah.

D’Angelo’s first full show on the Black Messiah tour will take place February 7 at New York City’s Apollo Theater. According to the Apollo, D’Angelo performed at one of the theater’s famed Amateur Nights in 1991.

No other dates U.S. have been announced yet, though D’Angelo will be touring Europe starting February 11.
