David Lynch, Warpaint, Best Coast, Dinosaur Jr., Melvins, Jesus Lizard Team for Dumb Numbers Box
Dumb Numbers is a project in which Australian musician/filmmaker Adam Harding teams up with an all-star lineup of contributing musicians, including Dinosaur Jr.’s Lou Barlow and Murph, Best Coast’s Bobb Bruno, Melvins‘ Dale Crover, Warpaint’s Jenny Lee Linberg, Einstürzende Neubauten’s Alexander Hacke, the Jesus Lizard‘s David Yow, and more. Their self-titled debut came out in 2013. The follow-up is a box set release compiling three split 10″ records featuring Dumb Numbers music on one side and music from David Lynch, Melvins, and Yow on the other.
It’s out September 25 via Joyful Noise. A portion of proceeds will go to benefit the David Lynch Foundation for Consciousness-Based Education and World Peace. That’s the artwork for the Lynch 10″ above. Find the other two covers, plus Dumb Numbers’ tour dates, below the box set’s trailer.
