Dawes Enlist Conor Oberst, Brandon Flowers, My Morning Jacket for "All Your Favorite Bands" Video

Dawes have shared a new video for “All Your Favorite Bands”, the title track of their latest album. Directed by Kevin Hayes, it features home video clips of Dawes’ musical friends singing along to the track. Look out for Conor Oberst, Brandon Flowers, My Morning Jacket, M. Ward, Johnathan Rice, Gillian Welch, Blake Mills, Deer Tick’s John McCauley, Delta Spirit’s Matt Vasquez, and many more.

Of the video, Dawes’ Taylor Goldsmith said:

This is really a video made by our friends. All we told everyone is that we wanted some footage of them singing our song. All of their different settings and situations were completely their ideas. We had no idea what to expect. But we really love how it came together and for us, it really seems to suggest the musical family we feel lucky enough to have been a part of over the last six years.

In conjunction with the video, Dawes have also launched the “All Your Favorite Bands Playlist” section of their website. Fans can listen in and add their favorite songs to the public playlist, which is being hosted by Spotify. Head to Dawes’ website to try it.
