Deftones Make Fun of Kanye While Detailing New Album Gore

Deftones recently announced their latest album, Gore. After dropping the album’s first single, “Prayers/Triangles,” yesterday, they’ve now detailed the tracklist and revealed the album cover, which you can check out below. The LP is up for pre-order now.

They also poked a little fun at Kanye West in a press release about the album. Here’s singer Chino Moreno on how good the album will be: “Out of respect for Pac, Big, Stevie, Michael, Hendrix, Gore is ONE of the greatest albums not the greatest, just one of.”

If you remember, Kanye originally talked up his new album Waves by calling it the “album of the life.” He later walked back that statement, saying: “Out of respect for Q-Tip, Puff, Hov, Lauren, Pharcyde, Mary, Stevie, Michael, Hendrix, James, Pete Rock, Pac, Marvin…. this new album is ONE of the greatest albums not the greatest just one of …”
