Diplo Releases Florida Reissue Via BitTorrent

Diplo Releases Florida Reissue Via BitTorrent

In September, Thom Yorke became the first artist to release an album via BitTorrent’s “paygated bundle” system, when he surprise-released his album Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes. Now, Diplo is becoming the second artist, with a paygated bundle of the 10th anniversary reissue of his 2004 album Florida. Download it here or via the embed below.

The bundle is available in two tiers: For free, you get an unreleased Eprom remix of “Big Lost”, the stems for “Into the Sun”, a message from Diplo, various pieces of art, plus emails Diplo sent to his label, Big Dada, to accompany his demo. For $5, you get the album’s original eleven tracks.

BitTorrent has also made the ability to charge money for bundles available for all artists. Find more details here.

Big Dada will release an expanded, two-disc version of the Florida reissue on Black Friday (November 28).
