DJ Quik Threatens to Sue YG Over “My Nigga”
DJ Quik has claimed that he engineered and recorded YG’s My Krazy Life hit “My Nigga,” but was not credited. In a series of since-deleted tweets, he threatened legal action against YG and his management company. YG took a screenshot of that and another tweet, and responded, “Fuck the police @djquik.” See YG’s tweet, as well as a video from Quik, where he declares “Don’t play with grown folks,” below.
