Drake Says “Fuck Hot 97” In Freestyle During “Summer Sixteen” Show at Madison Square Garden

Earlier tonight, during a freestyle portion of his performance at Madison Square Garden, Drake called out New York City based radio station Hot 97, saying, “fuck Hot 97.” He then said, “fire Funk Flex and then I’ll do your show,” in reference to one of Hot 97′s hosts, Funkmaster Flex.

During Drake’s feud with Meek Mill last year, Funk Flex played the reference track for Drake’s song “10 Bands” on air. Later on, he made it further clear that he was not a fan of the Canadian rapper. More recently, Hot 97 host Ebro Darden recounted a conversation in which Eminem allegedly planned on entering Drake’s long-documented beef with Joe Budden. Ebro also said that Drake hinted that he would be prepared with a comeback if Eminem ever dissed him. Later on, Ebro claimed that the conversation in question was a joke. Both Funk Flex and Hot 97’s Peter Rosenberg responded to Drake’s diss on Twitter, as did Ebro. Below you can find their responses. This is the first of four shows Drake and Future will play at Madison Square Garden during their Summer Sixteen tour
