Erykah Badu and Robert Glasper Rework Miles Davis’ “Maiysha”: Listen

On the heels of the Miles Davis biopic Miles Ahead and its soundtrack, Jazz pianist Robert Glasper has been reworking snippets of Miles Davis’ studio recordings for a Davis tribute album called Everything’s Beautiful. One such recording is a remix of “Maiysha” featuring Erykah Badu. Stream the collaboration below via Rolling Stone. “I think Miles would’ve loved Erykah,” Glasper told Rolling Stone. The song, from Davis’ 1974 album Get Up With It, has been revamped as a bossa nova track. Everything’s Beautiful is out May 27.
