Flaming Lips, Interpol, Mountain Goats Celebrate Chicago's Empty Bottle in New Book

The Empty Bottle has been a staple of the Chicago music scene for over two decades. That iconic rock club is now getting a book documenting its run. It’s called The Empty Bottle Chicago: 21+ Years of Music / Friendly / Dancing, and it’s out in June via Curbside Splendor. The book features a foreword by John Darnielle of the Mountain Goats and interviews with members of the Flaming Lips, Interpol, Low, OK Go, Vandermark Five, Girl Talk, the Rapture, Red Red Meat, the Sea and Cake, and more. It was edited by John Dugan.
