Fleet Foxes may be on unofficial hiatus, but singer Robin Pecknold has stayed busy. He’s written original songs for Wyoming, an Off-Broadway play produced by theater company Lesser America. Pecknold collaborated with drummer and singer/songwriter Neal Morgan, who’s played with Joanna Newsom and Bill Callahan, on the music. The play was written by Brian Watkins, who is Pecknold’s cousin.

Wyoming opens January 15 at NYC’s Theater for the New City, and runs through January 31. There are currently no plans to record the score.
