Flying Lotus Shares 2 New Songs With Thundercat and Brendon Small: Listen

Flying Lotus has been particularly active on Soundcloud this week, sharing his remix of the “Twin Peaks” theme and the Queen-sampling “Night Grows Pale,” among other things. Now, he has posted two tracks that appear to be outtakes from his most recent album, 2014’s You’re Dead!. “North Star3” and “You and Your Friends Are Dead” are collaborations with Thundercat and Brendon Small (co-creator of “Metalocalypse”), who both appeared on You’re Dead!. “North Star3” also features longtime FlyLo collaborator Miguel Atwood-Ferguson. Both tracks say “You’re Dead! THUNDERDETH LOTUS” in their titles. Pitchfork has reached out to Flying Lotus’ representative for more information about the tracks.
