Foo Fighters Cancel European Dates, Including Glastonbury, Due to Dave Grohl Leg Injury

Last week, Dave Grohl injured his leg after falling off stage at a Foo Fighters concert in Gothenburg, Sweden. While he continued performing after receiving treatment, it was revealed afterwards that he’d suffered “at least one fracture.” Now, Foo Fighters have canceled the remainder of their European tour dates owing to his injury, including their Glastonbury headlining set. Check out the amended schedule below. In a press release, a publicist said that Grohl underwent surgery on Monday, but that his recovery time “is still to be determined.”

In a note posted on Foo Fighters’ website, Grohl offered a blow-by-blow of the gig, which he described as “without a doubt the single most bizarre Foo Fighters show in the entire 20 years of being a band.” He revealed that his fall resulted in him “dislocating my ankle and snapping my fibula like an old pair of take out chopsticks.” He also offered an apology to fans for canceling the shows.

As for Glastonbury, he wrote, “Kanye…..Imma let you have this one…..”
