French Rap Duo PNL Forced to Cancel Coachella Set Due to Immigration Issues

PNL is the French rap duo of brothers Tarik and Nabil Andrieu (aka Ademo and N.O.S.). They were scheduled to make their American stage debut yesterday with a performance at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, but were forced to cancel their set due to “immigration issues,” according to a representative. The rep continued, “After months of applying, the immigration office still has not granted one of the brothers, Tarik, a visa so they had to cancel [Sunday]’s performance at the festival.”

The duo acknowledged the cancellation in a Facebook post (in French); find that below. If the visa problem can be resolved in time, they hope to perform at the second weekend of Coachella on Sunday, April 23, according to the post.

Earlier this year, many artists set to perform at SXSW were denied entry into the U.S. due to various immigration issues.
