Grimes Teases "California" Video: Watch
Grimes has shared a brief preview of her upcoming, self-directed video for “California,” off last year’s excellent Art Angels. It features a variety of oddball characters: including cowboys, a woman in corpse paint, and a strange figure who tends to a tomato plant onstage. Meanwhile, Grimes sweeps a room and partakes in ribbon dancing. Watch it below. The full visual arrives this Monday (May 9) at 10 a.m. EDT.
“California” is Grimes’ third Art Angels video. It follows “Kill V. Maim” and the combo video for “Flesh Without Blood/Life in the Vivid Dream.”
