Gucci Mane Dropping New Album Drop Top Wop on Anniversary of Prison Release

Gucci Mane has announced a new album. It’s called Drop Top Wop. The record (which he has teased since January) is set for release on Friday, May 26—the one-year anniversary of his release from prison. The project is produced by Metro Boomin. Featured artists include Rick RossMigos’ Offset, 2 Chainz, and Memphis rapper Young Dolph. Following his May 2016 prison release, Gucci put out six projects: Everybody Looking, the GucTiggy EP (with Zaytoven), Woptober, Free Bricks 2: Zone 6 Edition (with Future), 1017 vs. the World (with Lil Uzi Vert), and The Return of East Atlanta Santa.

So far in 2017, Gucci has announced The Autobiography of Gucci Mane (due September 19) and released an EP with Shawty Redd (3 for Free). He’s also shared the song “Make Love” with Nicki Minaj, and appeared on numerous tracks like Mike WiLL Made-It’s “Perfect Pint,” Migos’ “Slippery,” and a remix of Bruno Mars’ “That’s What I Like.”
