HAIM, Beth Ditto, Katy Perry, Yoko Ono, Tegan & Sara, More Team for Girls Rock Camp Benefit
The Girls Rock Camp Foundation has announced a benefit gala, “Girls to the Front,” taking place April 29 at Los Angeles’ Chateau Marmont. HAIM will perform at the event, which will be hosted by “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” actress Rachel Bloom. Beth Ditto will also host a seated dinner for VIP attendees. Awards will be presented to Motown Records President Ethiopia Habtemariam, as well as Julia Michaels and Justin Tranter, the songwriting duo behind Justin Bieber’s “Sorry,” Selena Gomez’s “Good For You,” and other hits. The event’s honorary committee features Tegan and Sara, Kathleen Hanna, Yoko Ono, Katy Perry, Rose McGowan, Kristen Bell, Cyndi Lauper, Carly Simon, Reba McEntire, Margaret Cho, Marianne Faithfull, and Chloe Sevigny.
