Hear an Unreleased Kendrick Lamar Verse on Flying Lotus’ "Eyes Above"

Though Flying Lotus and Kendrick Lamar already hooked up for “Never Catch Me”—a standout from Flying Lotus’ recent You’re Dead!—FlyLo mentioned, in a recent interview, that “Never Catch Me” was not the only song they had recorded.

“There’s actually another track that he did on this album that I had to take off for political reasons, but it was a really cool thing,” Ellison told Pitchfork in September. “He came to the house and laid it down and killed it. He didn’t come with no entourage or nothing. It was real special to me. I appreciate that space when I can sit with the artist and really see how their genius works, and Kendrick is that guy.”

Ellison has been playing the song at his live shows and some footage of the track—called “Eyes Above”—has surfaced. Watch the video below.
