Producer Hudson Mohawke is making an album with Antony and the Johnsons singer Antony Hegarty. “The album I’m producing for Antony is really cool as fuck,” he told NME. “It’s really political, very angry, taking on the NSA.”

Back in May, Hegarty joined Hudson Mohawke on stage during a performance at New York City’s Webster Hall. There, they performed two songs featuring Hegarty’s vocals on top of HudMo’s production. (Watch some brief snippets below, via Do Androids Dance.)

HudMo is also working on music with Foals frontman Yannis Philippakis, according to NME. He was less forthcoming about that project, telling NME their work is “coming along. I think it’ll be pretty special.”

Hudson Mohawke will release the Chimes EP on September 30. Antony’s last release was 2012′s Cut the World. Foals’ last release was 2013′s Holy Fire
