Every Friday, the makers of the new HBO series “Vinyl” have been releasing mini-soundtracks featuring music from that week’s episode. The latest (Volume 1.5) features covers from Iggy Pop, Julian Casablancas, the Kills’ Alison Mosshart, and the Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach’s band the Arcs. An original recording of Rosco Gordon’s 1956 song “Let’s Get High” is included as well. Iggy takes on the Nervous Breakdowns’ “I Dig Your Mind.” Following his take on “Run Run Run,” Casablancas returns with another Velvet Underground cover, “White Light White Heat.” The Arcs take on Bobby Parker’s “Watch Your Step” and Mosshart does the Punks’ “My Time’s Coming.” Listen to all of them below, and check out the tracklisting.

“Vinyl” is executive produced by Terence Winter (“Boardwalk Empire,” “The Sopranos,”) Mick Jagger, and Martin Scorsese. As Dan Auerbach explained to NPR“What Marty wants, Marty gets.”
