Jamie xx Previews Score to Ballet Tree of Codes

Jamie xx has scored Tree of Codes, a ballet that was commissioned by the Manchester International Festival and inspired by the Jonathan Safran Foer novel of the same name. Below, you can watch a trailer for the ballet that includes a Jamie xx track called “Pianna”. The ballet opens at the Manchester International Festival on July 2.

Tree of Codes was choreographed by Wayne McGregor in an environmental created by visual artist Olafur Eliasson; soloists and other dancers from The Paris Opera Ballet and McGregor’s Random Dance Company will perform it.
