Kanye West, Bruce Springsteen, Chris Martin Playing With U2 at Surprise Show in Times Square Tonight
Tonight in New York City, U2 will perform a surprise show on the occasion of World AIDS Day, presented by Bono’s organization (RED). The band has been billed as “U2 Minus 1″, as Bono will be unable to perform due to injuries from his recent bike accident.
Instead, U2 will be alternately fronted by Bruce Springsteen and Coldplay‘s Chris Martin. Kanye West will also perform, separate of the group, as will the singer Carrie Underwood.
The show takes place at 7:30 EST at Duffy Square in Times Square (Broadway between 46th & 47th Streets). It will stream on YouTube here.
