Listen to Black Lips’ New Song in Response to Trump Victory

Black Lips have shared a new song called “Deaf Dumb and Blind.” The band tweeted that they “felt like making an anarchy style punk song after last night,” when Hillary Clinton lost to Donald Trump in the presidential election. Below, hear the track and see their tweets, including one where frontman Cole Alexander says that he’s leaving the country to marry Fat White Family guitarist Saul Adamczewski and live in the UK. Sean Lennon chimed in to reveal that he was in the studio last night with the Black Lips.

Reactions to the election results have poured in from musicians. Best Coast have opened an email hotline for those who feel “scared, discouraged, unsafe.” See responses from Thom Yorke, Chance the Rapper, and Rihanna here, Win Butler and M.I.A. here, and Mick Jagger, Lil B, and Mitski here.
