Chance the Rapper was the guest on a special episode of Hannibal Buress’ podcast, “Handsome Rambler,” as the Fader points out. Listen below. They discussed Chance and Jeremih’s Christmas mixtape (which featured Buress), juke and footwork, the meaning of Chance’s “Same Drugs,” his gospel input on “Ultralight Beam,” his pitches for SNL sketches—which earned him a table meeting—and the chance of Chance running for Chicago mayor (spoiler: it’s slim, according to Chance). They also reflect on Kanye’s Life of Pablo tweaks (“God knows, I got some jokes I wish I could switch up right now,” Hannibal jokes) and play an unchallenging game called “Who Said It: Jesus or Young Jeezy?”
