M.I.A. Shares New Song “Poc That Still a Ryda”: Listen

Earlier today, M.I.A. took to Periscope to answer questions and air her ongoing U.S. visa woes. (Immigration and human rights lawyers are getting involved, she said.) She also announced the imminent release of new music, which she’s now shared. “Poc That Still a Ryda” is a new song she described as “a mix of all the songs on my upcoming Lp.” She added: “had to do a remix to let u know , i been poor , i been rich , i been brown , i been black , i seen white and i been around the world a few times ay ay ay ay . LOVE IS THE ANSWER what the question is i don’t fucking know.”

Earlier this year, M.I.A. tweeted that she was handing her “last LP” to her American label. She added that the record would be out in “July. Summertime.” In recent months, she’s shared “Rewear It,” as a part of an H&M campaign, “MIA OLA,” “Foreign Friend,” and “Temple,” a collaboration with Baauer and BIGBANG frontman G-Dragon. She recently previewed a new song saying she wanted to leak the album. M.I.A.’s last LP was 2013’s Matangi.

During the broadcast, M.I.A. also said she plans to tour the UK next year.
