Madonna Releases Six Songs, Announces New Album Rebel Heart

Earlier this week, a bunch of Madonna‘s demos leaked—she referred to it as ”artistic rape” and a “form of terrorism”. As a response to the leaks, she’s announced her new album Rebel Heart. It’s out March 10 via Interscope, and six tracks are available right now. Listen to all six below.

All the tracks except the first six are untitled (other than track eight, which is called “Joan of Arc”). “Bitch I’m Madonna” features Nicki Minaj, and Billboard reports that Kanye West and Diplo produced some of the six available tracks. More music will be out on February 9.

Madonna made a statement about the album:

“I was hoping to release my new single ‘Living For Love’ on Valentine’s Day with the rest of the album coming in the Spring. I would prefer my fans to hear completed versions of some of the songs instead of the incomplete tracks that are circulating. Please consider these six songs as an early Christmas gift.”

Some information about the new album has trickled out—that she was working with SophieBlood Diamonds, DJ Dahi, and perhaps even Ariel Pink (though that last name was rebutted by Madonna’s manager).

X-mas is coming early! Pre order my album and download 6 tracks! Happy Holidays! ❤️#rebelheart pic.twitter.com/YBiJccfQQ4
