Bob Dylan TV Series "Time Out of Mind" in Development

A new TV show “inspired by characters and themes from Bob Dylan‘s vast archive of songs” is in the works for Amazon, Variety reports. The show is titled “Time Out of Mind,” which is also the name of Dylan’s 1997 album. Writer/director Josh Wakely secured the rights to Dylan’s catalog. He is also the creator/writer/director/producer behind Netflix’s “Beat Bugs,” the animated kids show inspired by Beatles songs, featuring over 50 Beatles covers by artists such as Sia, the Shins, Regina Spektor, and Eddie Vedder.

This May, Bob Dylan will release his next album, Fallen Angels. He is currently on tour and will hit the road with Mavis Staples this June. See his dates here.
