Mastodon’s Brent Hinds Cast As Late “Jackass” Star Ryan Dunn In Bam Margera’s Upcoming Film I Needed Time To Stay Useless

When he’s not touring with his band Mastodon, guitarist Brent Hinds (third from left in the photo above) pursues other hobbies, such carving gigantic wooden penises and acting. Last year, “Jackass” star Bam Margera sat down for a penis-joke-ridden video interview with Hinds in which he revealed that the Atlanta musician had been tapped to play the show’s late Ryan Dunn – who died in 2011 after a fatal automobile accident – in his new movie I Needed Time to Stay Useless. (Which may or may not be named after a Cloud Nothings lyric.) Loudwire first reported the casting news; check out the interview below.
