Metallica Announce New Album Hardwired…To Self-Destruct, Share New “Hardwired” Video: Watch

Metallica have announced the follow-up to 2008’s Death Magnetic. It’s called Hardwired…To Self-Destruct, and it’s out November 18 via the band’s own Blackened Recordings. Hardwired…To Self-Destruct is the band’s first new studio album of the core lineup (James Hetfield, Kirk Hammett, Lars Ulrich, Robert Trujillo) since 2008. In 2011, they released Lulu with Lou Reed. The new album is two discs and 80 minutes long. It was produced by Greg Fidelman, along with Hetfield and Ulrich. In addition to the two discs, the deluxe edition of the album features a third disc of bonus material.
