Miguel and Kacey Musgraves Tease Steamy "Waves" Remix Video

Miguel and Kacey Musgraves have shared a minute-long teaser trailer for their “Waves” remix, from Miguel’s Rogue Waves EP. In the video, the two get close. You can watch it below via Elle. Rogue Waves was released last month, and also collects remixes of the WILDHEART track from Tame Impala, RAC, and Travis Scott.

Regarding the track, Musgraves told Elle:

I feel like it’s gonna be a good, summer, slow, chill jam… It was a challenge. It was different figuring out, ‘How am I going to make this song me?’ I didn’t want it to sound like I’m just covering a Miguel song. I wanted it to sound like me.

This isn’t the first Miguel remix video filmed on a beach. Previously, Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker and Miguel shared a short segment for their “Waves” remix, which saw the men sitting in chairs as the tide rolled in.
