Morrissey Says He’s Playing Riot Fest After All
Riot Fest takes place September 2-4 in Denver and September 16-18 in Chicago. Earlier this month, the festival announced its 2016 lineup, which featured Morrissey among the many other artists scheduled to perform in Chicago. However, Morrissey immediately disputed the booking, writing on the official Moz fan site True to You that he was “not a part” of Riot Fest as of May 23. But it looks like whatever discrepancy existed has been resolved as of yesterday, as Morrissey confirmed on True to You that he’ll headline the Chicago edition of Riot Fest on September 17.
