New Trainspotting 2 Trailer Revives “Choose Life” Monologue: “Choose Facebook, Twitter, Instagram”
Trainspotting is back. Danny Boyle’s cult 1996 movie has a sequel, T2: Trainspotting, coming next February; today, its first full-length trailer arrived, as Entertainment Weekly points out. It features a revamp of Ewan McGregor’s iconic “Choose life” speech from movie one. “Choose Facebook, Twitter, Instagram,” it begins. “And hope that someone, somewhere cares.” Watch the trailer, in which the original cast (and themes) return in style, below.
