Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds Share "Give Us a Kiss"

Not too long ago, we reported that Nick Cave was the subject of a new film called 20,000 Days on Earth, a semi-accurate, oft-fantastical look into the Bad Seeds/Grinderman frontman’s life. Directed by Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard, the forthcoming pseudo-documentary assembles fictionalized, largely unscripted scenes from Cave’s 20,000th day on Earth.

With the film’s September 19 release date drawing near, Cave and the Bad Seeds have shared previously-unheard cut “Give Us a Kiss”, according to the Quietus. Check it out below, along with the film’s trailer. Above, listen to the B-side: a live performance of “Jubilee Street”, from 2013′s Push the Sky Away (it’s also available for free download now on their Soundcloud).

A 10″ version of “Give Us a Kiss” will be released on November 10.

20,000 Days on Earth is out in theaters September 19 in North America and the United Kingdom, August 21 in Australia and New Zealand, and November in the rest of Europe.

A launch event at London’s Barbican on September 17 will also be broadcast to 150 participating UK theaters. Update: On September 20, the film will screen at Town Hall in New York City, followed by a solo piano performance by Cave, plus a Q&A with Cave and the directors. It will be live streamed on Noisey.
