Oscars 2017: Moonlight’s Mahershala Ali Wins Best Supporting Actor

Mahershala Ali has won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his part as Juan in MoonlightMoonlight was nominated for 8 Oscars in total; this marks the film’s first. At the Screen Actors’ Guild Awards earlier this year, Ali also took home the award for Best Supporting Actor.
