Pitchfork Presents The Sunday Review

Throughout this year, Pitchfork has explored new ways to enhance our album reviews section and share additional work with readers. In April, we announced that we would begin publishing a slate of reviews on Saturdays, updating the section outside the traditional work week for the first time in our 20-year history. And when David Bowie and Prince passed earlier this year, we took time out to explore their catalogs in depth. Now we’re adding another piece to the Pitchfork reviews slate: The Sunday Review.

Starting this weekend, Pitchfork will run a single album review each Sunday examining an important album not previously found in our archives. These reviews will be in-depth long-reads written by the best critics in the field, exploring each album’s original context and examining where it fits into an artist’s career and discography, as well as what it means to music now.

We’ll begin the series with Barry Walters on Kate Bush’s 1985 classic Hounds of Love. See you Sunday.
