Puff Daddy to Open Harlem Charter School

Puff Daddy has announced plans to open a new charter school in New York’s Harlem neighborhood, in partnership with Capital Preparatory Schools . Capital Preparatory Harlem Charter School, which has been in the works for five years, will open this fall at 1 East 104th Street. “Creating this school is a dream come true for me,” Puff said in a press release. “I want to impact the lives of young people in my community, and build future leaders. The first step is offering access to a quality education.” The school is currently accepting applications for enrollment. It will initially accept students in the 6th and 7th grade, before eventually expanding to cover grades 6-12.
