Rihanna Cast as Key Psycho Character in “Bates Motel”
Today at Comic-Con in San Diego, the producers of the A&E drama “Bates Motel” announced that Rihanna will join the show as Marion Crane, the victim in the famous shower scene from Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho, for the fifth and final season. The producers reportedly sought Rihanna out for the role after she professed she was a fan of the show in a Vanity Fair profile, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Rihanna confirmed the casting in a pre-recorded video sent to the San Diego event. Watch the video here. The final season of “Bates Motel” will air in 2017.
