Robyn Jumps on the Bed in La Bagatelle Magique’s "Love Is Free" Video

Robyn and La Bagatelle Magique—a group featuring keyboardist Markus Jägerstedt and the late producer Christian Falk—have shared a video for the title track from their mini-LP Love Is Free. The video, directed by SSION, features Robyn jumping on the bed with guest singer Maluca, before they change costumes and dance ecstatically through various colorful sets.

In an interview on the video’s set with The New York Times, Robyn explained, “It’s not about being as absurd as possible, but it’s also not about being about something in particular, either. We just wanted to do something fun and inspiring and playful.” In a statement, she added, “I loved working with SSION on this video! The thoughts Maluca, Markus, and I had about how to materialise ‘Love Is Free’ seemed to find a perfect place in Cody’s fantastic world. Flesh and paint and dreams, both good ones and bad ones.”
