Röyksopp Stream New Album The Inevitable End

Röyksopp‘s new album, The Inevitable End, is due out November 11 in the U.S. via Cherrytree/Interscope (and November 10 internationally via Wall of Sound/Cooking Vinyl). The full LP can be streamed right now via iTunes Radio.

Arriving shortly after the Norwegian duo’s recent collaborative EP Do It Again with Robyn (who features on two of the album’s tracks, including a rework of Do It Again cut “Monument”), The Inevitable End is Svein Berge and Torbjørn Brundtland’s follow up to 2010′s Senior. It’s also their last album, they say.

In a press release, Berge and Brundtland assured fans that The Inevitable End would not be the end of them making new music, though:

With The Inevitable End we’ve moved into a darker subject matter, with emphasis on the lyrical content. This candid approach feels very both personal, sincere and conclusive… With this album it became clear we wanted to make an album in a classical sense even if it’s the last one we make… We feel like this is a goodbye to the traditional album format. In our consecutive run of albums, we have been able to say what we want to say and do what we want to do with the LP. We’re not going to stop making music, but the album format as such, this is the last thing from us.
