Sharon Van Etten has scored a new film called Strange Weather. It’s directed by Katherine Dieckmann (Motherhood, Diggers, “The Adventures of Pete & Pete”) and stars Holly Hunter, Carrie Coon, and Kim Coates. The film’s bio describes it as the story of a mother (Hunter) who deals with the death of her son by traveling “the back roads of the deep south to settle a score.” It’s set to debut at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival, IndieWire reports.
Thrilled that ‘Strange Weather’, my first film scoring experience, will premiere at @TIFF_NET! Info on @IndieWire: https://t.co/Lgz2t3Izcf
