Sigur Rós Share New "Óveður" Video: Watch
Sigur Rós have shared a video for a new song called “Óveður.” Watch it below, and find some artwork as well. Directed by Jonas Åkerlund, the video was shot in the Icelandic town of Grindavík. It begins with a homeless woman, who drinks and plays on a tire swing. Later, she goes to a bar, which begins a sequence of biting, bleeding, and drawing on people. At the end, she swings around flares and starts a fire. “Óveður” is the band’s first new song since 2013′s Kveikur. It debuted during their new tour, and was featured during the 24-hour “Route One” streaming event, which concluded today.
