St. Vincent Designs Signature Ernie Ball Guitar

St. Vincent has teamed up with Ernie Ball Music Man for her own signature guitar, as Exclaim points out. More photos, along with technical specifications, can be found here. It’s available in black or “Vincent Blue” (a color hand-mixed by Annie Clark), and ships in 2016.

“I’m extremely grateful to have been given the opportunity to design a guitar this personal with this company, this family, in whom I believe so completely,” Clark said in a press release. “The entirety of my experience as a guitarist is invested in this instrument. I sought to create a tool that would help and inspire those who share my priorities in a guitar, namely that it be comfortable and lightweight and that it exhibit clean lines, all without sacrificing tone flexibility.”

As Exclaim notes, Clark played the guitar when she appeared on stage with Taylor Swift and Beck earlier this week.
