Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel Parody Kanye’s “Famous” Video

Since moving to “The Late Show” last year, Stephen Colbert has used the platform to poke fun at Kanye West a few times. In February, he mocked some of West’s tweets. Then in May, he parodied West’s eight-minute stream-of-consciousness “Ellen” speech. Now, Colbert has turned his sights to the rapper’s latest creation: the controversial “Famous” video, which premiered last week in Los Angeles.

On last night’s “Late Show,” Colbert jokes that he was in the original video. He tells West (who generously asked someone to sue him), “I’mma sue you right now for cutting me out of that video.” Colbert then places himself in the visual, naked except for a nasal strip. He tells the audience, “Yeah, we just had sex. All of us. At the same time.”

Colbert wasn’t the only late-night host to take some friendly shots at the visual. In his monologue, Jimmy Kimmel called it “exceptionally Kanye-esque” and “the most star-studded ad for a Sleep Number mattress [he’s] ever seen.” He then identifies the depicted celebrities one-by-one, and places his sidekick Guillermo Rodriguez in the video.
