Stream Drug Apts New Death Grips-Produced EP

Drug Apts are a Sacramento band made up of vocalist Whittney Kebschull, guitarist Tristan, bassist Dylan Craver, guitarist Matthew Maxwell, and drummer Micheal Theimann. Today, they’ve shared their self-titled EP, which you can stream below. The EP is produced by Zach Hill and Andy Morin of Death Grips, and it is out via Tyler Pope of LCD Soundsystem’s label Interference Pattern Records. It is the label’s first release. The EP includes “Concrete Jungle” and “Mother Invention,” which were previously shared on Pitchfork Radio back in June.

Drug Apts’ Michael Thiemann and Tristan previously played in the band the Yah Mos with Pope. Drug Apts began work with the two Death Grips members after Hill attended a Drug Apts concert. The group recorded nine songs with the pair over a three-day span.
