The Cure Cover the Beatles' "Hello Goodbye" for Paul McCartney Tribute, First Recording Since 2008

The Cure have recorded a cover of the Beatles“Hello Goodbye” for The Art of McCartney, an upcoming Paul McCartney tribute album featuring contributions from artists such as Bob Dylan, Brian Wilson, Smokey Robinson, Perry Farrell, B.B. King, Billy Joel, Chrissie Hynde, Kiss, Willie Nelson, and more. Check out the full tracklist and the various formats available here.

You can watch video of the Cure performing the cover below, via The Guardian. It features McCartney’s son, James, on keyboards. This is the Cure’s first released recording since 2008. 

The Art of McCartney is out November 18. Robert Smith covers “C Moon” for the limited edition vinyl box set version of the tribute.
