The Libertines Debut New Song Live

As 2014 came to an end, the Libertines signed a record deal and announced intentions to release a new studio album. Last night during their set at Best Kept Secret Festival in the Netherlands, the band played a new song—their first in over a decade. It’s reportedly called “Gunga Gin”. Pete Doherty reportedly told the crowd that they wanted to play more new songs, but were advised not to until the album comes out, NME reports. “We’re going to give you one but it’s got to be a secret, yeah?” he said. “Turn your phones off.”

The band’s forthcoming album will be their first since 2004′s self-titled LP.
