Tegan and Sara and the Lonely Island‘s Lego Movie song “Everything Is Awesome” is up for Best Original Song at this year’s Academy Awards. Tonight at the Academy Awards ceremony, Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer, Jorma Taccone, Tegan Quin and Sara Quin performed the song amidst a backdrop of colorful legos, joined by cowboys, astronauts, construction workers and one awesome possum. Questlove and Devo’s Mark Mothersbaugh both made guest appearances.

“Everything Is Awesome” is up against Common and John Legend’s “Glory” (from Selma), Rita Ora’s “Grateful” (from Beyond the Lights), Glen Campbell’s “I’m Not Gonna Miss You” (from Glen Campbell… I’ll Be Me) and Adam Levine and Keira Knightley’s Lost Stars” (from Begin Again) for the Oscar.
