The xx Announce Fall 2016 Tour

The xx are currently at work on their upcoming, as-yet-untitled new album. Today, they’ve announced a series of tour dates in Eastern Europe and Japan, and shared a playlist of “songs we’ve been listening to in the studio.” The dates take place in late November and early December. (Yes, a month from now.) In an email newsletter, the band said they “will be testing out some of our new songs in places we don’t get to go to so often.” Find the band’s full itinerary below. (A few weeks ago, they announced they will play Lollapalooza South America next year.)

Also listen to the playlist below. It features Frank Ocean, Radiohead, Solange, Drake, Björk, the Cure, Queens of the Stone Age, Alicia Keys, the Velvet Underground, and more.

The xx’s last album, Coexist, was released in 2012. (Both Romy Madley Croft and Oliver Sim appeared on Jamie xx’s debut solo LP In Colour last year.)
