The xx Reveal Another Mysterious Piece of Music
The xx recently shared a mysterious snippet of music on a playlist of songs they were listening to in the studio. The artist, album, and song title were all just listed as “-” accompanied by a white square for artwork. That piece of music is no longer on the playlist, but a new nameless song has appeared in its place, Indiespot points out. Listen to the new bit of music below. Once again, it’s 55 seconds of music, but this time it features an echoing male voice (likely Oliver Sim).
The xx’s last album, Coexist, was released in 2012. Jamie xx’s 2015 solo album In Colour featured both of his bandmates, Romy Madley Croft and Oliver Sim.
