Tiny Engines Donating All Bandcamp Proceeds to Planned Parenthood and Southern Poverty Law Center

The North Carolina-based label Tiny Engines has made its entire digital catalog available via Bandcamp’s “pay-what-you-want” model. The entirety of the proceeds will go to Planned Parenthood and the Southern Poverty Law Center. Tiny Engines is home to releases from the Hotelier, Beach Slang, Tigers Jaw, Dikembe, Annabel, Mannequin Pussy, Sweet John Bloom, and more. The Hotelier (who put out three LPs on the label) have encouraged fans to spend $1,000 at Tiny Engines’ Bandcamp. Check out the label’s catalog here.

Tiny Engines’ campaign follow similar donation endeavors by Run for Cover Records, Foxing, and others. In addition, a number of artists, including Death Cab for Cutie, Best Coast, Nico Segal, and El-P have made concerted efforts at inclusivity in the wake of the U.S. presidential election results.

So @tinyengines has their whole catalogue pay what you want with proceeds going to @PPact/@splcenter. Why not spend $1000 on all of them?
