Tom Waits, Sinéad O’Connor, Lucinda Williams Appear on Blind Willie Johnson Tribute Album

On February 26, Alligator Records will release God Don’t Never Change: The Songs of Blind Willie Johnson. The tribute to the late gospel blues legend features new recordings of his songs by Tom Waits, Sinéad O’Connor, Lucinda Williams, the Blind Boys of Alabama, Cowboy Junkies, and others. Find the tracklist below.

The compilation was produced by Jeffrey Gaskill; it will be released on CD and vinyl. Johnson’s songs have famously been covered by Led Zeppelin, Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, and many others.
